Google Analytics for the physical world

Retail analytics from the CCTV you already have.

RetailVision turns your existing camera footage into footfall, anonymous age and gender mix, dwell time and conversion insight. No new cameras. No facial recognition to identify anyone.

Measured, not modelled.

RetailVision conversion dashboard: footfall and conversion by day and hour, with attributed revenue

Works with your cameras

No new in-store hardware to buy or install.

Independently benchmarked

Accuracy measured, not self-reported.

Anonymous by design

No facial recognition to identify anyone, no identity matching.

Compliance-ready

Designed to support GDPR, POPIA and Gulf PDPL obligations.

Independent benchmarking applies to the age and demographic-estimation models. RetailVision does not perform facial recognition and does not identify anyone.

The problem

Physical retail runs on guesswork.

Online retailers can see visits, drop-off, conversion and repeat behaviour. Physical retailers usually see only sales and rough footfall. Your point of sale tells you what sold. A basic counter tells you how many people walked in. Neither tells you which groups came in, where they spent time, or where conversion broke down.

Your cameras are already capturing much of it. Nothing is reading that footage for commercial insight.

Over 80% of retail still happens in physical stores, yet most in-store behaviour is measured only roughly, if at all.

The opportunity

You already pay for the traffic you fail to convert.

You have spent real capital on cameras that only pay you back in security footage you hope you never have to watch. That is a cost centre. RetailVision turns the same cameras into a revenue tool, with no new hardware and no capital spend. Most of the people who walk in leave without buying. We show you which groups, when, and where you are losing them.

Illustrative A store with about 600 visitors a day. A single one-point lift in conversion is roughly six extra sales a day, about €65,000 a year at a €30 basket. The platform is a fraction of that, with no capital outlay.
From one camera In a single deployment, one existing entrance camera over 30 days surfaced about 19,000 visitor encounters and showed the real peak was 5pm, not midday, and flagged that around 11% of traffic was under 18. No hardware installed.
What RetailVision does

Turn recorded video into measured commercial intelligence.

Your CCTV is already capturing the data. We deliver the insight: a full dashboard from your own footage, in about 7 working days, with no new cameras required.

Footfall and demographics

Who walks in: counts and anonymous age and gender mix, by store, day and hour. No one is identified.

The conversion gap

Who came in and did not buy, by group and by zone. Often the fastest place to find lost revenue across a store estate.

Dwell and zones

Where people go, where they linger, and where they leave.

Ask your data

A plain-English question box on every dashboard. "Which group converts worst on Friday afternoons?" Returns a chart and a written answer, no SQL or report request.

Monthly insights report

A board-ready summary of what moved, where revenue is leaking, and the likely causes to investigate. Included, not an add-on.

Conversion by age group and dwell versus conversion
Conversational analytics

Ask your data a question. Get the answer.

Every dashboard has a plain-English question box. Ask "which shoppers visit most but buy below average?" and get a written answer with the numbers behind it in seconds. No analyst, no SQL, no report request.

Decisions, not dashboards

It tells you what to do next.

Re-staff your best hours

Put people where the converting traffic actually is, and cut labour cost per sale.

Fix the display they walk past

Rework the zones the under-35s ignore, and the ones where dwell never turns into a sale.

Aim marketing at who comes in

Spend against the audience that actually walks through the door, not the one you assume.

Justify the rent

Price rent and advertising on measured footfall, not estimates, whether you are the retailer or the landlord.

How it works

Existing cameras in. Anonymised intelligence out.

01

In-store cameras, ingress, till and egress.

02

Encrypted upload, after hours.

03

Processing: detect, measure, align to sales.

04

Footage deleted. Anonymised data only.

05

Your dashboard and conversational query.

  • Your footage is processed and then deleted. Only anonymised, non-identifying data is kept.
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Per-client isolation, least-privilege access, full audit logging.
  • No facial recognition to identify anyone. We never match a face to a name, run a watchlist, or keep an identity database.

Uploads run after hours over your idle connection, throttled to avoid affecting trading. Overnight processing, dashboards refreshed each morning.

Who it's for

Built for the people who own the floor.

Mall-wide playback analytics: heatmap, flow, dwell and demographics across a whole centre

Retail chains and store operators

Find the non-conversion gap and act on it. For many estates, even a small conversion lift can outweigh the platform cost.

Malls and property operators

Measured visitor intelligence instead of footfall estimates: the evidence to set rents and price advertising space. Works without tenant sales data.

Marketing and operations

See whether a campaign moved in-store behaviour, and staff to real demand instead of guesswork.

FAQ

The questions we get first.

Do you use facial recognition?

No facial recognition to identify anyone. We do not match faces to names, run watchlists, or keep an identity database. Faces are processed only transiently to estimate an anonymous demographic, then deleted with the footage.

Do we need new cameras?

No. It works with the IP cameras and recorded footage you already have.

What happens to our footage?

It is uploaded encrypted and processed, then deleted within 24 hours. Only anonymised, non-identifying data is kept.

Will it work with our CCTV or NVR?

In most cases, yes. What matters is a reasonable view of faces at entry and till, not 4K. We run a quick camera-suitability check up front and prove it on your real footage in the pilot.

How accurate is it, really?

Our age and demographic models are independently benchmarked, not self-reported. Real-world accuracy depends on camera angle and resolution, which is exactly why we prove it on your own footage in the pilot before you commit, rather than quote a number we cannot defend on your cameras.

Where does the data run?

Your choice. A public cloud region near you by default, your own private cloud if you prefer, or in-store if you want full control. Our deployment options are designed to support EU, UAE and KSA data-residency requirements.

How long does a pilot take?

A dashboard from 30 days of your recorded footage in about 7 working days.

Do you use our sales data?

Where you can share transaction data, we align it to footfall to measure the conversion gap. Footfall and demographics work without it.

Can property operators use this without tenant sales data?

Yes. Footfall, demographic and dwell intelligence stand on their own; conversion needs sales data.

What comes next

Every deployment builds something bigger.

Every RetailVision deployment builds proprietary, structured behavioural data that exists in no public source. Over time this becomes RetailPreSight, a forecasting layer that gets sharper with every client. RetailVision is the product you buy today; RetailPreSight is where the data takes it.
